Web Design is a course that provides an introduction to the basic concepts, technologies, issues and techniques required for developing and maintaining websites. This course focuses on the creative and technical aspects of Web Design through the use of industry-based software Adobe Photoshop and HTML editor.
Topics such as layout design, navigation, readability, data and file management for the web, reliability, accessibility, usability, and copyright will be explored.
This course will prepare students with the technical skills necessary to function in today’s digital workforce.
Instruction will be a combination of lecture, hands-on creating, guided individual and group projects and reading assignment.
